I went back into the store twice, once to speak with another worker who had me come back two days later to speak to the store manager who informed me that he could not help me and that I would need to call AT&T. Without my permission a new line was added to my account, my phone number attached to my iphone 7 was transferred to the iphone 12, but, the new number that was created was assigned to the iphone 12, and set as the primary number for the contract without me realizing any of this until my bill came and had been overcharged by $50.00 for not only a new line I did not approve, but, for the lack of credit I was receiving for the iphone 7 I turned in that was not documented anywhere, meaning, the man that helped me just took my iphone 7 and I am not sure what he did with it, but he did not register it onto my account for a credit. I worked with a young man whose name I do not know because on the receipt for the transaction everything was rung up under an employee named Veronica. I cannot stress enough DO NOT SHOP AT THE TORRINGTON AT&T store! I went into the store back in March to upgrade my iphone 7 to an iphone 12.
